Ingredients

  • 15 gram butter
  • 40 gram red onion
  • 15 gram flour
  • 400 ml vegetable stock
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 20 gram Umami Flavour Booster

Preparation method

  1. Heat the butter in a pan on high heat.

  2. Fry the chopped onion until golden brown.

  3. Add the wine and reduce to ¼

  4. Add the flour and cook for 1 minute on medium heat

  5. Slowly add the stock and the Umami Flavour Booster.

  6. Bring it to a boil and reduce heat until you have the desired consistency.

  7. Optional: strain if you prefer a smooth gravy.
