The easy recipe for making a delicious classic bolognese sauce. This Italian sauce is delicious with pasta or in a lasagne.

  • 50 gram onion
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 400 gram minced meat
  • 150 gram carrot
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 400 ml diced tomatoes
  • 80 gram Bomba! Tomato XXX
  • Optional: paprika, Italian herbs, salt and pepper
  • Cook 300 gram pasta according package

Preparation method

  1. Chop the onion and the garlic.

  2. Chop the carrots and the bell pepper in a food processor until they are fine.

  3. Heat a little oil in a pan and fry the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.

  4. Add the minced meat and fry it until it is loose.

  5. Add the carrots, bell pepper and herbs and fry this for about 5-6 minutes until the vegetables are a bit softer.

  6. Add the Bomba! Tomato XXX and fry for 1 minute. Add the diced tomatoes and a pich of salt / pepper.

  7. Let the sauce simmer for at least 10-15 minutes.
