with Taste5 Vegetarian
We recently posted our Taste5 Twist update on an American classic – Green Goddess Dressing. We love this piquant and versatile recipe as it's not just for salads, but makes a wonderful marinade for chicken and sauce for drizzling over the moist delicious results.
We suggest you whip up a batch of this recipe that gets a flavor boost from Taste5 Vegetarian paste - then plan your weekly menus to use it all up. It keeps well for a week tightly covered and refrigerated.
1 Recipe Taste5 Green Goddess Dressing
2 tablespoons olive oil, plus more for grilling
4-5 lbs skin-on, bone-in chicken breasts, thighs and legs
Lightly season the chicken with salt and pepper.
Place chicken in a large heavy-duty resealable plastic bag and cover with three-quarters of the Green Goddess dressing.
Press out the air and ensure the chicken is thoroughly coated.
Reserve the remaining dressing for a sauce.
Refrigerate for at least 6 hours or up to overnight.
Heat oven to 450˚ F degrees.
Remove chicken from the marinade, shaking off as much of the marinade as possible.
Discard the remaining marinade from the bag as it is not safe to consume.
Place chicken in a shallow baking dish or rimmed baking sheet.
Using a paper towel, pat the top surfaces of the chicken dry.
Drizzle olive oil over the chicken.
Roast for 30 to 45 minutes until thoroughly cooked.
Let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
Serve drizzled with some of the reserved dressing.
