RECIPE | Taste5 Chimichurri Sauce
with Taste5 Vegetarian
This sauce is a must in your grilling for grilling season. Our Taste5 twist recipe for a bright chimichurri sauce doubles as a marinade and an accompaniment to all cuts of beef, chicken, meaty fish and shrimp. The addition of Taste5 Vegetarian paste adds hints of garlic, ginger and citrusy yuzu.
Yield: Makes 1 cup
1 cup (packed) fresh Italian parsley
1/2 cup olive oil
1/3 cup red wine vinegar
1/4 cup (packed) fresh cilantro
2 teaspoons Taste5 Vegetarian paste
3/4 teaspoon dried crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon salt
Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor. and pulse until smooth.
Transfer to bowl.
NOTE: Can be made 2 hours ahead. Cover and let stand at room temperature.
